 WHY THIS IMMIGRATION MESS?

A member of the Texas House of Representatives, Trey Martinez Fischer (D-San Antonio), has recently addressed the possibility of Texas Republicans enacting an immigration bill like Arizona's.  Here is what he said, "I . . . urge party leaders to not alienate the Hispanic/Latino voter in Texas, as we now comprise about 39 percent of the population and we remain the fastest-growing minority group in the nation."  When distilled to its essence, his message boils down to an electoral threat against those who would seek to end the illegal invasion into this country through its Southern Texas border.

Fischer's comment is the kind of racist garbage that most of us have become all-too-accustomed to hearing in this new age of ethnic tribalism, where every culture is revered and praised except that of "colonial" and "imperial" Anglo-America.

How did this interesting state of affairs occur?  Most citizens are clueless about an answer.  At the risk of being tarred repeatedly with every unpopular name in the book – all of which appellations I have come to wear as badges of honor – I will escort you down Memory Lane.

In the early twentieth century, Horace M. Kallen, a Zionist, propounded a multicultural vision of American democracy, which eventually found its way into United States immigration policy. "What was wrong," you ask, "with the largely homogeneous, Anglo-Protestant culture that we had?"  Kallen's answer is that traditional American culture comprised an unfair "imposition" upon those from other parts of the world.  Expecting newcomers to assimilate to any cultural standard other than their own would be a betrayal of what they hold dear.  Never mind that they chose to come to this country to live.

It took 50 years for Kallen's vision to become law.  But it finally triumphed in 1965 with the passage of the Immigration Reform Act.  The bill owed much of its support to the abundance of organizational resources provided by numerous Jewish-interest groups, such as the American Council for Judaism Philanthropic Fund, Council of Jewish Federations & Welfare Funds, and B'nai B'rith Women.  One should also not forget the enormous assistance of crucially situated Jewish legislators, like Emanuel Cellar and Jacob Javits.

The United States of America relinquished its Anglo-Protestant identity with only the smallest struggle. The floodgates were opened to the Third World, and those from other races and cultures entered by the millions.

I find all these facts both interesting and troubling. Don't you?  One won't hear or read about them in the corrupt American media.  Do you wonder why?  Dare I say it and risk being branded "anti-Semitic" or "another David Duke." The last time I checked, however, there was a difference between telling the truth and "Jew-baiting."  I honor the distinction and refuse to conflate the two meanings.

Prof. Kevin MacDonald, pictured above, who is the author of The Culture of Critique, understands this vital distinction as well.  He has courageously set forth many uncomfortable facts.  Although his book is scholarly, thoughtful, and well documented, it has been shunned by the academic world and reviewed only a few times.  Considering the present state of academic life, this fact shouldn't shock anyone.

As of 1998, the year of the book's first publication, its author points out the following facts about the American media:

The largest media company in the world was formed by the merger of America On Line and Time Warner, with Gerald M. Levin its chief executive officer.  The second largest media enterprise is the Walt Disney Company, directed by Michael Eisner.  The third largest is Viacom, Inc., headed by Sumner Redstone.  All three executives are Jewish. 

New World Entertainment and DreamWorks SKG are major television companies owned by Jews, the former by Ronald Perelman, and the latter by Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen. 

"What, then, about Hollywood?" you inquire.  Ben Stein, himself a Jew and a readily recognizable presence on television, once asked rhetorically, "Do Jews run Hollywood?"  He then answered, "You bet they do – and what of it?"

In the realm of print media, the Newhouse media empire, which is owned and operated by Jews Theodore, Samuel, and Todd Neuhaus, claims 26 daily newspapers, including the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Newark Star-Ledger, and the New Orleans Times-Picayne.  Newhouse also owns 12 television broadcasting stations and 87 cable TV stations, the Sunday supplement Parade, 24 major magazines, including the New Yorker, Vogue, Mademoiselle, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Bride's, Gentlemen's Quarterly, Self, and House & Garden.

U.S. News & World Report is owned and published by Mortimer B. Zuckerman, a Jewish ethnic activist, who also owns New York's tabloid newspaper, the Daily News, and is the former owner of the Atlantic Monthly.

Peter R. Kann, another Jew, is the chairman and CEO of Dow Jones & Company, which owns the Wall Street Journal and publishes 24 other daily newspapers, as well as the weekly financial paper Barron's.

The Sulzberger family, which is Jewish, owns The New York Times and the Boston Globe, and also twelve magazines, including McCall's and Family Circle.

The President of NBC is Andrew Lack and the President of NBC News is Neal Shapiro, both of whom are also Jewish.

Is anyone with a brain cell really surprised, considering the ownership and management of American media, that factual information concerning the demise of traditional American culture has been all but buried?

The result of multiculturalism has been anything but social harmony.  What kind of culture do we enjoy at present? At the top of the heap there are moguls of industry.  They make millions of dollars by exploiting the rest of us, especially the cheap laborers.  What do I mean by "cheap laborers"?  I am referring to illegal immigrants, yes; but also to other workers on the bottom rung of the social ladder, who are intellectually challenged and unable to hold most kinds of jobs, incompetent as parents, inclined to public assistance, criminality, psychiatric disorders, and substance abuse – plus rapid demographic increase.  In between the elites of industry, who are comfortably ensconced in luxury on the uppermost deck of the ship, and the pathetic souls relegated forever to steerage, there are many "ethnically divided, chronically competing, highly impermeable groups."  These, according to MacDonald, jockey for power, for position, and for goods, feeling short-changed and screaming for justice whenever it suits them.  It is the picture of bloody chaos, with the ghost of Horace M. Kallen hovering over it!  If this be American democracy, I lift up my voice and vote a resounding "No!"

The story of America's cultural demise impresses me as, perhaps, the biggest cover-up in the history of the world.  The media won't tell you about it.  Politicians breathe nigh a word.  Universities are too cowardly to broach the subject. But this sorry state of affairs does not change the fact that ultimate ruin awaits a country too divided even to defend its own borders.  As America continues to unravel, citizens in misery and despair will begin to ask, "How did this happen?"  The truth will then be unveiled in all its shameful majesty.
